Well, we are back in gymnastics. Sophia's first session was when she was 15 months old and I think it was just too late for her. She had a great time but multiple meltdowns on each lesson. This time we were hoping for a much better time.
She hasn't been taking good naps the last few days and I think she didn't even get one on Friday. She fell asleep on the way home from McDonalds eating a chicken nugget. She slept through Cory changing her diaper, shirt, pants, and shoes. Good grief. She slept during the "long" ride to gymnastics (about 4 minutes), through getting out of the car, and through about 10 minutes of waiting for the class to start. Cory and I were very worried about how the class would go but after about 5 minutes, she warmed up and had a great time. We did have 2 meltdowns though. One at the end of class when she realized we were going to leave. She rolled around on the floor crying and saying "Again, again". Then she had another one in the parking lot when she and Libby split up. "I want my Wibby" is what we heard all the way home. All in all, I count it as an extreme success. We can't wait to go back next week.
Jumping in and out of hula hoops. This girl loves to jump.
Listening to Miss Shelly's instructions
Libby loved the hula hoop part. Sophia was not interested. Doesn't Libby look so cute and professional in her leotard and pigtails?
Tumbling in the obstacle course with Daddy
She loves the balance beam. Cory is doing an excellent job spotting her.
Jumping down the "road"
Waiting with the other kids at the end of the class to get their stamps

Is Mary Lou Jr. wearing crushed velvet? Glad she is back in 'nastics. I am sure this go-round will be much better than last.
Yes, crushed velvet! Doesn't she look like a pro!
