Sophia in Action

Swimming Lessons

On Saturday, Sophia attended her first swim lesson. She loved being in the water and loved being with all the other kids. The moms and dads seemed to have as much fun as the kids. The 30 minute lesson flew by. We can't wait for next week's lesson. Cory went along to photo document the lesson. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I'm ready to swim. Like my suit?

Valentines Day

Well, it has been a long time since my last blog entry. All of the Cissells have been sick, so blogging was last on my "to do" list. It feels really good to be blogging again. Just to get you caught up I will post Sophia's Valentine picture. She is the perfect little Valentine angel. On Valentine's Day, Cory got up early and drove to a bakery to get me the most wonderful doughnuts. They were delicious. For those of you that don't know, I LOVE doughnuts. They are my weakness. I can't pass them up. For Cory and Sophia, I put on a mini concert in our dining room complete with programs, intermission, and cookies. I thought it went over really well. Cory seemed to like it and Sophia sat still while she enjoyed some puffs. God bless the makers of puffs.

Fun with Pardie and MiMi

We are so happy to have moved back home. Sophia and I love to run over to my parents house just to hang out or say Hi. Sophia loves all the attention.

She is so cute!

Just to prove you are never to old to be Momma's baby.

My First Superbowl

Sophia experienced her first superbowl at the Banet's house. For those of you that don't know, Sophia loves football. As a matter of fact, that is pretty much the only TV that she likes. She is not a fan of Baby Einstein or Elmo's Counting just football. Sophia has never been around so many kids before. She loved it.
We all had a great time at Angie and Gary's house. Sophia had fun playing with Libby and Cory and I got to meet a whole lot of new people. It was a lot of fun. And of course, THE COLTS WON!!!!! YEAH!!!

And of course this Sunday was a special occassion because Sophia finally started to crawl. GO SOPHIA!
Doesn't Libby look cute in her cheerleading outfit?I don't know what those girls were looking at but they sure seem interested.

A visit from Aunt Tonja and Brianna

Today Aunt Tonja and Brianna came to visit so Aunt Tonja could do her taxes. Sophia had lots of fun playing with Brianna. She just laughs and laughs at all the little sounds Brianna makes and listens so carefully when Brianna is telling her something. Brianna is such a good cousin. Sophia enjoys the time they spend together.

Brianna, you're so funny.

Visiting Pardie

Sophia loves to visit her Pardie. (For now that is the agreed upon name although I am still pushing for Pop Pop.) Visits with Pardie wouldn't be complete without her Uncle Pancho. Sophia and Pancho are currently the same size so she can't get enough of him. Pancho is a good sport but becomes very jealous of the time Sophia and Pardie spend together. Pardie tried hard to coach Sophia into crawling, but unfortunately she wasn't interested. She preferred to lick the carpet and cry. Oh well. Every baby develops in their own time. She is still the smartest baby in the world as far as I can tell.

Another Photo Shoot

Another wonderful playdate with Libby and Angie. After we signed the girls up for swimming lessons and went to eat, we went back to Angie and Libby's house for a photo shoot. The moms had great plans of pictures in multiple outfits, but the girls were not interested. After the "naked" shots, Sophia was done. I couldn't believe it. A chance to get her picture taken and she was bowing out. In her defense, she had only a 30 minute nap all day. Pictures can be tiring. But I think the naked ones turned out GREAT.

Best Friends Forever

Relaxing with friends

What would a playdate be without a picture of Sophia attacking Libby for kisses. Poor Libby. She is such a good sport.

Finally, a cute Valentines picture of Sophia. Could it be cuter?

Thanks Miss Angie.
