Saturday was Pardie's 60th Birthday. We celebrated on Friday since Saturday was the big trip to see Elmo. We wanted to go to Olive Garden but the wait was an hour so we decided to go to IHOP. The theme for Pardie's party (ha ha) was both "over the hill" and "Thomas the Train" since he has such a love for trains. We got him this nifty ribbon, which he was a good sport about, and wore through the whole evening. Sophia wore her "I love Grandpa" shirt for the occasion. Then we went back to Mimi and Pardie's house for presents and ice cream cake. Sophia really enjoyed her ice cream cake. Happy 60th Birthday Pardie!!
