Last night at dinner Sophia said, "Look, I see a bird". We were shocked. A full sentence...yeah! Then she put her finger to her lips and said, "Shhh. Birdie says Tweet Tweet". I decided to see how far this would go and asked her what color of bird she saw. "Pink." Oh, a pink bird. Didn't know those existed but thought I should play along. I asked, "What kind of pink bird is it?". She said, "Hmmm. A pink honey bird." Well folks, there you have it. We have pink honey birds in our backyard. If I ever see one, I will take a picture as I am sure that you are all interested in what one of these looks like. I know I am. It is so cool to see her imagination starting to really work now. And to go along with that her vocabulary is expanding so she is able to communicate this kind of fun stuff with us. She is such a joy and I just love having her as my daughter. I feel so lucky.

Well we all know Miss Sophie is super smart. Probably because you ate over the recommended amount of fish when you were pregnant. I am hoping my fish oil supplements will have the same effect on Eva.
Pink Honey Birds are my favorite!!
